My husband and i both have disabilities and we own two dogs that are self trained(but not certified) for us and work well when the need arises … Our problem is that we need to find a new rental home .. What is our best bet to sell us and the dogs to future land lords??

I, and many other Aussies, also agree.

Turns out there is more than one way in Australia to meet other pet lovers (where there is demand, the supply will come I guess).

So, as well as Violetta’s site, there is also http://www.lovemelovemypet.com.au (based out of Queensland).

http://www.lovemelovemypet.com.au can also assist pet lovers with meeting each other and hopefully arranging mutual pet sitting or cost splitting, etc. for your animals.

In the meantime, we would love, love, LOVE it if there were more affordable, pet friendly accommodation in Australia – the last place we looked at was out of our price range for the length of time we wanted to stay.

I agree lots still needs to be done particularily with apartment living, it can be difficult for pet owners to find a suitable home. Many I know have to rent houses which are too large or expensive for them on their own but have no choice with a pet. there is a new aussie website where you can meet other pet lovers and maybe hook up for a rental share arrangement. at first glance it looks likedating for singles, but you can also find friendships and buddies for your pet and may be a help to finding a friend to rent with and split costs until such time that affordable apartments are pet friendlier..its http://www.meetapetlover.com.au
