It's disgraceful that so many landlords will not accept pets in their precious properties. Are we supposed to put them to sleep before we rent? I swear they are largely responsible for the huge numbers of strays around. We had a rental home where we allowed all types of pets and never had a problem. Now I am trying to find a short term let for myself & 3 very well behaved cats and almost universally it's NO. Why, when the place is unfurnished and you pay a large bond anyway? Doesn't make sense. Wake up landlords! Would you part with your pet if you were on the other end of things?
